Keynote Speech: Digital Drives Energy: OGE’s Digital Transformation - Digital Transformation for the Energy Transition

OGE’s digital transformation compares to a journey across a vast ocean. Along this symbolic metaphor, OGE entered this endeavor as a heavy tanker comprised of conservative structures, and a culture based on safety. After a few maneuvers failed because OGE simply wanted too much too fast, we started over with the motto: "think big, start small".
Relying on the corporate strategy, OGE restructured its path to digitization following the vision: "We drive digitization - together, enthusiastically creating added value". This vision served as a compass. On OGE’s digitization map, the digitization potential of internal customers emerged as the ports of destination that had to be reached. Initiatives and subsequent actions maintained the course.
OGE’s journey is not over yet. We understand that we have to continue on our journey of progress and agility to ensure success for the future. The presentation will provide an overview of this journey to date and the roadmap for the future.
